Growing Up, on Friday October 10th, 2025

Greetings and salutations in the wee hours well before Dawn as I write these words.

Yesterday, history was made when both sides of the Israel/Hamas war agreed to the terms of a 20-point plan pursuant to real (and, hopefully, lasting!) Peace. This is the Lord, working in and through the hearts of all involved Who is making this happen, largely through our own President.
This is nothing short of miraculous. 

I've even confirmed the factual nature of "news" reports by reaching out to a long-time friend of mine in Israel who has confirmed the wonderful claims we've been seeing in the news about this so, at least this time, the media, for once, isn't lying, a welcome and refreshing change, but one that is due to the singular fact that even their global web of liars can't hide this massive truth. Of course, I feel that it will be 'business as usual' (nothing but lies and twisted, false narratives) regarding any and all other matters, unfortunately, but I digress.

Anyway, when I was a kid (and there was some modicum of civility, healthy degrees of national pride, unity, and decorum that remained) I vividly recall that all Americans from both sides of the aisle would unite behind whoever won the presidency, no matter who he or she voted for...back then, at least.

In today's reality, "adults" (people of 18 years old+) act like histrionic, mentally ill children, literally and even deliberately ignoring truth in favor of emotionally-driven, profound stupidity. And that may seem harsh, but think about it for one moment: if an American wants the President of the United States to fail, that means that that person wants our nation to fail and, if that's the case, you're either deeply, profoundly stupid, or just plain evil, period, there is no other factual possibility here, other than perhaps "both". 

Therefore, dear Reader, please: do not be stupid. You have the power to choose for yourselves, or I wouldn't even bother (saying this). Please, ***USE*** the matter currently holding your ears apart and stop allowing yourselves to be driven by every little wave of 'feelings' that come your way! (We used to call it "growing up").

Time to grow up. 

When we operate based out of literally nothing more than our feelings, we're being ruled not like mature adults govern themselves, but rather the way children behave, led by nothing more or less than mere emotion, usually without anything based in any kind of truth or fact to back those feelings up. May I recommend the early chapters in the Book of James with regard to this very thing (only because it's one of the resources within the Word that I've found helpful with this issue in my own life though I remain very imperfect in this, among many, regards). 

Anyway, it'd be nice if American adults would start acting both American AND adult again, but I have deep and extremely-skeptical views on that.

One more thing is that people need to stop conflating 'intelligence' with the amount of "education" (read: college indoctrination) they've received, whether that be 'some college' to 'multiple doctorate degrees'. 
The smarter a person thinks that they are, the harder and harder they are to teach. Arrogance makes it impossible to learn, and without humility, Wisdom becomes nothing more than an impossible abstract  relegated to the people of ancient times alone.
