Evening Thoughts on Sunday, April 6th, 2025

Hello (again?) dear Reader, and welcome in one place online where you're encouraged to speak freely, understanding that I can and absolutely will do the very same.
I remember listening to this next CD on the player in my Volvo S70, on the drive to work in Deep Ellum (in Dallas, TX) from my third-floor apartment in Arlington a short thirty approximate minutes away; seeing the sunrise during that drive was always the very best.

I bought it soon after it dropped back in 1999 (Moby PLAY, that is).

And, tonight I waited too long, but caught this post-sunset image from our yard today:

Today, we gathered for a superb homemade meal that featured chicken and beef enchiladas, Spanish rice, papas fritas, (and I made) guacamole. We have errands to run tomorrow and still very much general work ahead; sometimes the time seems to fly by with incomprehensible velocity, like the month of April 2025 so far has.

Right now, I'm typing away; he's laying down nearby; the animals are all either asleep or otherwise at rest, and this is playing in the background:

Thank you for spending some of your time with me here, dear Reader; be blessed and may your rest be peaceful and plentiful, refreshing you body, mind, and soul for the week to come (God willing). 💖
