Greetings and salutations on yet another day of Life, dear Reader, and welcome (back?) to this obscure American blog, floating around somewhere in the ether. Here is a look at Freedom Turtle yesterday sitting at her table-top drinking spot. 💖
Lancome La Vie Est Belle Intensement is visible in the background since I wore that one yesterday.
We're both already up today, now listening to this (our new instant-favorite song, Hard-Fought Hallelujah):
I feel like any Christian who's been through at least one good trial can identify with this one but y'all can tell me if I'm wrong. My husband found this song less than 72 hours ago and we must've heard it about twenty times already; I don't see this song 'getting old' any time in the near future, either. Therefore, Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll are now added to our list of favorite independent artists that also includes Tom MacDonald, Adam Calhoun, Burden, Mesus, and others. For my part, once I heard (from many of the artists themselves) how very evil and corrupted the music industry is, the less I am willing to support them (that is, the music industry moreso than the artists on their labels) in any way, shape, form, or fashion (just like Hollywood, which we boycotted well over a year ago and so far, no problem - neither one of us misses anything about it.) We are not created to be entertained. Life was never meant to consist of a day's work followed by nights of debauchery. No, the point in life is to know Christ and Him crucified. One doesn't achieve that through six hours of Grand Theft Auto a night, for example (just saying). Good luck to you, dear Reader, I didn't realize/understand this truth until I was in my fifties (so, very recently) - no condemnation.
Here's a look at our current weather and forecast (F) from google:
I pray the Lord meet all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, dear Reader. May you lean more on the everlasting arms today than ever before; may He defeat all forms of evil everywhere on earth today and save the soul of every human being, in Jesus' Name, amen. 💜
