Well, hello (again, if applicable) dear Reader, and welcome (back). I'm (currently) so over-saturated with politics that it's constantly bleeding over into ever moment of life.
Gratefully relieved (after November 5, that is), now I need to go ahead and figure out how to shift over to some different topics/ material. π
So, here's a not-necessarily-political topic! I found a great YouTube channel:
My beautiful friend and I are sending perfume swaps to each other (we both have tracking which is always good). I hope she loves what I sent to her (one of them is a surprise that I hope she loves so I can't say which one it is here and spoil the surprise, just in case she happened to see this before receiving her package which I'm anxiously tracking until it's delivered to her). π
Well, the perfume website banned me from posting in the forum for a couple of weeks. No, I won't pretend that it's not of my own doing - I'm both grown AND conservative, so yeah, if I do it, I own it.
Anyway!
I'll talk about something else specific now. I'm trying so hard to convince my husband to take me to the border to see if we find any children, but he won't do it and I don't understand why. I mean, what, why can't I have them instead of traffickers who intend Lord knows what for them? I mean, I'm broke and insane but have GOT to be a better option for those poor babies than what they're probably facing otherwise. And, I'm small, getting old, sick and weak but inside there beats the fierce heart of a warrior willing to save those babies no matter what it takes. At least some. At least one.
It's like this story of the starfish:
And, folks: me wanting to go and save at least one of the children isn't political in any way. It's just human. π
