Wednesday Morning, January 8th, 2025

Greetings and salutations, dear Reader, and welcome to this obscure American blog on this day above ground (for those of us fortunate enough to see it with living, human eyes today - thank You, Lord).
This (unedited!) picture is the only one that I took of yesterday's sunrise, during those magical (but fleeting) moments when the entire world is engulfed in pink, glowing light:

This must be a preview of Heaven's entrance.

It's mind-boggling and incredible that there are so very many human beings alive right now who, though they have seen things like: birth, sunrises and sunsets, the pattern of a leaf on a tree and realize the number of leaves on the one tree multiplied by the number of trees on planet earth multiplied by the unknown number of similar planets in the Universe (et cetera ad infinitum) - and these people still somehow choose to NOT believe in God Almighty?! Just WOW

Heaven and Hell both wait for your arrival.
Choose WISELY.

I'm on a third cup of coffee so far; yesterday at the hospital, I'd forgotten that I'd taken two benzonatate (basically, double the written amount) before going (to the ER) but only because I wanted it to help with my breathing, and it did; in fact, even though the nurses and doctor were curious that I didn't present with more severe symptoms, that still wasn't enough to jog my mind to remember the medicine I'd taken not an hour before arriving there. (DUH on my part).
Of course, I now have Prednisone, too - again. Anyway, God's decided that I get to see another day of Life today; otherwise I wouldn't be here (and the same is true for you, too, dear Reader).

I'm always (somewhat) disappointed when the day's Proverb is all about adultery and/or 'the loose woman', like yesterdays was. Today's Proverb is (in my mind) far more relevant to my own character needs (that I'm aware of, though I'm sure there are more that will be revealed to me in His time). So without any further ado, here is today's Proverb from the Book of Wisdom:

And, the audio version as well:
And, for further reading, from the Old Testament (because I adore stories like this one!):
And, because we all need to be reminded WHO is in charge, WHO is the Only One worthy of praise, worship, and literally anything and everything that He requires of us, collectively and individually:

Try not to make the profound mistake of believing that, because you appear to be getting away with/ have gotten away with something (evil) that God doesn't care and/or won't do anything. It's just that His timing IS perfect, He knows when to send His Judgement, sometimes in the form of a cruel messenger. Let this next passage encourage your appreciative humility of these facts.
